practical information > What you should know about securitySince 1 January 2004, the law requires owners of outdoor pools, buried or partially buried, not closed, private, individual use or group to be equipped with a safety standard no later than impoundment or the work of establishing the protective device requiring pre-impoundment, by the completion of the pool.

In the case of a swimming pool built and put into water before 1 January 2004 the owner must secure it before 1 January 2006.

Since 1 May 2004, owners of pools housing rental data should provide a safety device standards.
