Why do I equip my pool floats when winter?

The float's function is essential to absorb surges of ice formed on the surface of the pool.
This way when the formation of ice, it exerts pressure on the floats not on the walls.

Generally, they are arranged on the diagonal of the basin.
Depending on the temperature prevailing during the winter it is sometimes advisable to place them on a length and width.

In the case of a swimming pool, or mirror, do not forget to have floats in the buffer tank.
